Mantenno Tsujinoya Executive Chef Tsuyoshi Tanaka Awarded the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare Commendation for Distinguished Service in Cooking Operations in 2024

Tsujinoya Mantenno's Executive Chef Tsuyoshi Tanaka received the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare Award for Distinguished Service in Cooking for the fiscal year 2024 as a Distinguished Contributor to Culinary Work (an individual holding a cook's license who is always on the front lines engaged in actual cooking duties and has made remarkable achievements in the development of cooking techniques and the improvement of cooks' qualities from a leadership position).

<Career>
Honed skills mainly in Ishikawa Prefecture at kappo restaurants, hotels, and multiple inns.
In 2000, joined Kenrokuen, Kenjotei in Kanazawa, founded in 1913 with a history of over 100 years.
In October 2017, after serving as cooking chief and deputy head chef, appointed head chef.
Since July 2021, appointed head chef at Mantenno Tsujinoya. Continues to the present.
Continuously honing skills while taking on new challenges in an unprecedented environment of regional and inn revitalization.
